Magical Reindeer Food

Build the excitement and guide Santa's sleigh to your home on Christmas Eve with this Magic Reindeer Food! Rumour has it, this recipe came from Santa himself! The idea is simple [but the memories are lasting} and uses basic ingredients that are likely to already be in your pantry. This is a fun activity to include in your Christmas advent calendar, or make a batch ahead of time as a sweet surprise in your Christmas Eve Boxes.

MAGIC REINDEER FOOD RECIPE

  • 1/4 cup of Oats
  • 2 Tbsp of Rice Bubbles
  • 2 pinches of Shredded Coconut
  • 1 shake of Sprinkles we got ours from our friends at Sweet Pea Parties

Place all the ingredients in a bowl and gently stir with a spoon until combined. Pour into a bag or container of your choice and pop it under the tree until you're ready to use it.

This reindeer food is also fun to pass out as gifts to little friends. All you need to do is download the printable, size and print it out and cut around the outline. Fold the printable on the top of the bag and staple or tape it shut. Super easy, inexpensive and a cute gift idea! Download your free Reindeer Food printable HERE*

I came across a little quote recently during one of my nightly scrolls through Pinterest [yes I said nightly] and it made me smile - it read:

"As a grown-up I've learned that all the 'Christmas magic' I felt as a kid was really a Mum who loved me so much."

I hope this is true for you [the quote said 'Mum' but is interchangeable with Dad, Grandparent, Aunty, neighbour, teacher or friend of course], and I am going to assume if you are reading this you are now in the role of 'mastermind' behind said magic - which I have actually found to be equally if not more exciting. What do you think?

Enjoy!
